Cineplex Adria Filmtheater Steglitz

Schloßstraße 48, 12165 Berlin

About this cinema

The Schloßpark-Lichtspiele opened at Schloßstraße 48 in 1921 with 1,000 seats and were destroyed in 1943. In 1952 a new single-storey cinema took their place as the Adria-Filmbühne. The hall was renovated in 1989 in the spirit of its 1950s interior and today seats 376 in 17 rows.

You reach it along a semicircular drive with a front garden, left of the old Steglitz manor house. Look down in the foyer: the floor tiles carry the Adria name, and so does the blue carpet in the hall. The programme leans towards American mainstream films.
