Klick Kino Berlin
About this cinema
A cinema has run at Windscheidstraße 19 since 1911, first as the Weinert family's neighbourhood house, renamed Klick in 1971. It closed in 2004 over unpaid rent, briefly reopened in 2017–2018, then returned for good on 2 July 2020. The single screen now seats 83 across eleven rows, with digital projection and Dolby Digital sound.
You can sit in an on-site café before or after a film — Café Klick runs independently but shares the address. Programming leans toward director-led, book-and-film and documentary events with guests in the room, drawing Charlottenburg's Programmkino regulars back to a Kiezkino that has outlasted its own closures.
