  • Mongay On November 9, 1989, the GDR's first gay film, "Coming Out," celebrated its world premiere at East-Berlin's Kino International. Shortly after the curtain fell, the Berlin Wall did as well. • Boulevard Noir From classic Hollywood noir and the urban elegance of European masterpieces to modern urban symphonies of the neo-noir genre. Breathless crime thrillers like BLOW OUT, dreamy love dramas like NEW YORK, NEW YORK, hopeless detective stories like THE MALTESE FALCON, and many more. BOULEVARD NOIR is dedicated to the diversity of a genre and stylistic device that constantly reinvents itself yet remains unmistakable – with harsh shadows and bright neon lights, disillusioned characters, false identities, ambiguous stories and the potrayal of shady cities beyond good and evil. Every second Thursday at the Yorck Cinema.
  • Hitchcock & Chabrol
  • Kinderfilm des Monats
  • Portuguese Cinema Days
